Glampful is located just over a mile from The Great Sacandaga Lake public beach and boat launch. Considered one of Adirondack Mountains’ best kept secrets, the lake is an undiscovered Mecca for boating, water sports, fishing and all kinds of recreation! It is surrounded by great restaurants, quaint shops and a rich history. Sandy beaches and rocky shores along the 125-mile shoreline of the lake are perfect for a quick dip or a day of swimming to cool off in the summertime. Sacandaga Lake is only one of the many nearby attractions. Here are additional things to consider during your stay with us.

Hadley Mountain

Hadley Mountain is the second highest peak in Saratoga County after neighboring Tenant Mountain. Round-Trip Distance: 3.6 miles.

Moreau Lake State Park

Moreau Lake State Park is a 4,531-acre park that features over 20 miles of hiking trails.

The Hennig Preserve

Over 500 acres of beautiful woodland that is excellent for hiking with families. The Yellow Trail Loop is a 4.5 mile lightly trafficked loop trail that features a river and is good for all skill levels.

Northville Lake Placid Trail Head

Placid Trail is a 132.2 mile lightly trafficked point-to-point trail located near Northville, New York that features a lake and is rated as difficult. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.

The Plotter Kill Preserve

North Rim and South Rim Red Trail Loop is a 5.4 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Rotterdam Junction, New York that features a beautiful waterfall and is rated as moderate.
