About

Our Ethos

We created Glampful out of our love of the outdoors, adventure, and our deep passion to connect people and community with nature. We aim to create a blissful, magical and rejuvenating experience that features luxury outdoor accommodations and hospitality.

Our Core Values

We are a team of world travelers and outdoor enthusiasts who thrive on the opportunity to create memorable experiences. In doing so, we do everything with the following core values:

Family is our most sacred core value. We work day and night to make Glampful a place where everyone is treated the same and all strive to be the best version of themselves while experiencing a blissful getaway.

While our goal is to create a luxurious experience, the protection of the natural environment through conservation and sustainable practices is at the core of Glampful.

Our culture is based on caring for our health, environment and community, and embracing our nearby resources is one of the most effective ways we feel to enhance all three.

In a shared experience, fun releases or creates a euphoria of a deeper bond between people. Fun lightens burdens and fun also creates memorable experiences. We aim to have fun in everything we do at Glampful as we bring people together at our glampsite.

Our Team

Glampful was created and is led by husband and wife, Cody and Elina Leclaire, as well as husband and wife, Nathan and Keisha Cavanna. Together we offer more than 40 years of experience in running service based businesses and more than 20 years of experience in the trades and emergency care industries.

Cody Leclaire, Founder

Born and raised in western Canada just outside the Canadian Rockies mountain range, Cody has been a lifelong camper, glamper, fisherman, and outdoor enthusiast. In 2005 he moved to Manhattan and has served as an executive leader in fast-growing experience-based businesses. His career began helping build the world’s leading destination internship program for college students that spanned across 15 cities and 5 continents. From there, Cody transitioned to education helping grow the alternative education space within high growth tech careers, and continues to provide consulting services to growing education companies. After absorbing a great wealth of knowledge in the business sector, Cody is returning to his roots and passion for the outdoors to build a one-of-a-kind glamping experience in the foothills of the Adirondack mountain range.

Elina Leclaire, Head of Operations / Co-Founder

Elina was born and raised in Queens, NY. She’s been “glamping” with her husband Cody since 2009 and unabashedly admits she can’t pitch a tent. Evangelia has traversed the globe, staying in homes made out of cow dung to safari tents overlooking the Serengeti. Camping aside, she’s gone from campus to a career at a Fortune 100 company, to a start-up that she helped grow to be a global organization, to solopreneurship as an executive career coach. She brings 10+ years of operations, talent development, and event management experience running global programs to help people build careers that fuel life dreams. She owns all her roles, including being a mom of two who manages #allthethings to live her dreams of serving others. Nathan Cavanna, Head of Development / Co-Founder

Born in Connecticut to British parents, Nathan was part of a family that was always outside. Nathan’s family moved to the UK when he was 6, and stayed there for 9 years. While there, camping, hiking in the mountains of Wales, kayaking on swollen rivers, and sailing in the channel were among the many ways Nathan spent his time. Taking on a trade as a young man, Nathan acquired a skill set that would set a solid foundation for himself and his family, and has been able to use those skills to work in and explore many different parts of the world, including Germany, New Mexico, and Australia. Finally putting down roots in New York, Nathan works as a foreman for a plumbing company, installing plumbing and fire suppression systems on commercial, industrial and residential projects. Spending time outside with family and friends has become a way of life for Nathan and something that he is excited to be able to share with others through a unique glamping experience.

Keisha Cavanna, Head of Experience / Co-Founder

Born on the tropical island of St.Vincent, Keisha emigrated to Brooklyn, NY when she was 6 years old. Growing up, Keisha was “always outside, but never outdoors”. There’s just a different type of green in Brooklyn. In 2006, her husband introduced her to the real outdoors where Keisha started spending more and more time in nature where she perfected the art of “comfortable camping” before glamping was mainstream. Camping became a way for Keisha to host friends and family in the most beautiful places. Keisha is a First Responder with the New York City Fire Department, where she cares for any and all who need help. Because of the demands of her job, Keisha values her mental health and has found different avenues to preserve it, and wants to share the peace she finds outdoors with others. Her vision is to help create a memorable and rejuvenating experience for friends and families.
